Supreme Court Says Strip Searches Are Allowed For Any Offense

The Supreme Court recently ruled that jail officials can strip-search any person before admitting them to jail, no matter how minor the offense the person is charged with, even a traffic offense. Jail officials do not have to suspect that the person may be concealing a weapon or other contraband prior to conducting the strip-search.
